Make Good Use of iPad Camera for Learning

Students are excited about the iPad camera and eager to take pictures, but one of the rules attached to our school iPads prohibits students from taking selfies or pictures of other students. So what can we take pictures of?

Here's the rule

If your teacher assigns a learning activity that requires a picture, take one.

Simple Ideas for everyday camera use

  • Take a photo of something you are proud of. This could be a sample of your work or something hanging on the wall. Can you add a caption to the picture to express an idea? That would be good use of your camera.
  • Take a picture of announcements or homework written in your classroom and email it to yourself so you can review it at home.
  • Take a picture of a good book you want to read.

What can we do with this pictures?
