AppSmashing During Genius Hour

The Beye Tech Team has been exploring the idea of Genius Hour during the lunch hour.  Students come in and out throughout the hour because they also need to eat and they are encouraged to go outside and get some fresh air as well. They can work on genius hour on their own and  at home, so sometimes they just check in. They are creating some amazing Passion Posters!




Students are using this time to create interactive posters about their passions by combining the best features of our favorite apps to communicate. This is known as, App-Smashing. So far students have begun the process using apps like Photos, Explain Everything & ThingLink, but we will use additional apps to bring the posters to life!
